Morikawa has recently joined Replica OMEGA’s family of stars and, during that short time, the brand has proudly watched him grow into one of the world’s most promising golfers. Playing in just his second Major, Morikawa kept pace with the leaders throughout the tournament, finishing with an incredible final round to reach the top of a packed and very competitive leaderboard. Taking the win in San Francisco is a huge achievement for the young player, and OMEGA is certain that this Major victory will be the first of many for the American.

As well as lifting the iconic Wanamaker Trophy, Morikawa’s prize included an OMEGA Seamaster 300 timepiece – one of OMEGA’s most legendary diving watches. The 41 mm case is built from stainless steel and 18K Sedna™ gold, and features the OMEGA Master Co-Axial Calibre 8400 behind a sand-blasted black dial.

OMEGA has been an Official Patron of the PGA of America since 2011, a role which has enforced the brand’s commitment to the growth of golf. As well as being the Official Timekeeper of the PGA Championship, the brand is also positioned as the Official Timekeeper of the Ryder Cup, when the tournament is played in America.
